Lexi - Privacy Policy

Scope. Lexi is a personal assistant operated by Marius Hattingh on a
single home computer for his own use. The only user of Lexi is Marius,
and the only Google account Lexi accesses is mariushattingh90@gmail.com.
Data accessed. With Marius's authorisation, Lexi accesses the following
scopes of his own Google account:
- https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.modify : read, classify, archive, label, draft, and move-to-trash Marius's Gmail messages
- https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.send : send replies that Marius has explicitly approved (Lexi never sends without Marius's go-ahead)
- https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar : read and create events on Marius's own calendars
What we do with the data. Email metadata and content is read by Lexi
locally to summarise inbox state, archive low-priority messages,
identify follow-ups, and draft replies. Calendar data is read to
generate Marius's morning brief. All processing happens on Marius's
own machine. No data is sold or shared with third parties.
Storage. Lexi keeps derived summaries (counts of triaged messages,
calendar events on a given day, notes Marius writes about people)
locally on Marius's machine. Raw email and calendar contents are
not exfiltrated. Local data can be deleted by Marius at any time
by removing the corresponding files from his home directory.
Sharing. Lexi does not share Marius's Gmail or Calendar data with
any third party.
Revoking access. Marius can revoke Lexi's access at any time from
https://myaccount.google.com/permissions .
